| These security systems are professionally monitored 24 hours a day by certified security professionals. When an alarm is triggered, whether automatically when the Magnavox system detects a break-in, or manually when you press a panic button, three things happen simultaneously: |
| 1) An ear-piercing 95 decibel siren blares, |
| 2) The home's lights flash on and off to attract attention and scare the intruder away, |
| 3) The system automatically sends a digital signal through the phone line to the central monitoring station, where the address and point of intrusion are instantly pinpointed. We'll phone you at home, usually within 30 seconds, to verify whether or not the signal was a false alarm. If no one answers the phone or provides the secret password, we will immediately notify up to three phone numbers on your emergency call list, usually beginning with the local police. |
